Interested in Band?

If you are currently interested in joining the Toro Band Program for the 2026-2027 school year, please fill out this form so we can get your contact information, and better place you in our ensembles for this upcoming school year.

Need to use a school instrument?

All Students who need to use a school instrument need to fill out this form.

Current students need to fill out the form and bring it to Mr. Thuneman before graduation.

NEW students need to let Mr. Thuneman know what instruments they are in need of. stthuneman@mpsaz.org

Concert Attire

Starting in 2025 the Toro band will be transitioning to a new concert uniform. Students will be sized and assigned uniforms during the school year.

Announcements and Events

2026 Summer Band Camp

Band Camp is currently scheduled for July 2023 9am-9pm and July 27-30 1pm-9pm at Mountain View High School. (There will be a break for dinner each day.) Please make sure you make your payments by (TBD). Follow this link to the Mountain View Bookstore to log-in and pay online OR call 480-472-6981. Band Camp is ECA tax credit eligible.

2026 Spring Band Camp

Saturday, April 25

8am-noon: Sectionals/movement block (outdoor)
8:30am - 9:15am: Parent information Meeting ( Auditorium)

11am-12pm: Lunch (provided by Boosters)
12pm-12:30pm: Show reveal!

12:30-3pm: Sectionals/full ensemble rehearsal/Team building (indoor)
